Widening Access to Medicine at Edge Hill University: eligibility, deadline and what it gives you
Widening Access to Medicine (WAM) was Edge Hill Medical School's free events programme for local North West students, and its admissions policy extends the UCAT threshold for applicants who completed it or who meet its widening participation criteria. WAM did not run in 2025 and Edge Hill says it is developing a new outreach programme, so for now the benefit is claimed through your UCAS application alone. The A-level requirement is unchanged and there is no guaranteed interview.
