Privacy Policy

MedPrepPartner (“we”, “us”) is operated by LOGIT AI Innovation Labs Limited, a company registered in England and Wales. This policy explains what personal data we collect when you use med.preppartner.ai or the MedPrepPartner iOS app, why we collect it, and the rights you have over it. We are the data controller for this data under UK GDPR.

What we collect

• Account details - your name, email address and password (stored as a salted hash). If you sign in with Google we receive your name and email from Google.
• Study data you enter - UCAT practice answers and scores, mock exam attempts, skill-trainer results, and the grades and qualifications you enter into the University Selector.
• Interview practice audio and transcripts - when you start an AI interview session your microphone audio is streamed to our AI interviewer so it can respond in real time. Sessions are transcribed and the transcript is stored with your account so you can review it and receive feedback. Audio is processed live and is not kept as a recording.
• Feedback and enquiries - anything you send us through the feedback form or coaching booking form.
• Usage and device data - which features you use and basic technical information (device type, app version, crash reports) so we can keep the service working and improve it.
• Billing - subscriptions are processed by Stripe. We store a customer reference and subscription status; we never see or store your card details.

How we use it

• To run your account and provide the practice, interview and selector features.
• To generate AI feedback on your interview answers.
• To track your progress and show you your history.
• To respond to your messages and booking requests.
• To understand how the product is used and fix problems.
• To send service emails such as account verification and password resets.

Our legal bases are performance of our contract with you (providing the service), our legitimate interests (improving and securing it) and, where required, your consent. We do not sell your data and we do not use it for third-party advertising or cross-app tracking.

Who we share it with

We use trusted providers to run the service, each bound by data-processing terms: Amazon Web Services (hosting, UK/EU region), MongoDB Atlas (database), LiveKit (real-time audio for interview sessions), AI model providers that generate interviewer responses and feedback (they receive transcript text, not your identity), Stripe (payments), PostHog (product analytics) and our email delivery provider. Some providers process data outside the UK under appropriate safeguards such as the UK International Data Transfer Addendum.

How long we keep it

We keep your account data for as long as you have an account. Practice history and transcripts are kept so you can review them, until you delete them or your account. Anonymised usage statistics may be retained indefinitely.

Deleting your account

You can permanently delete your account and all associated data at any time from Settings → Delete account in the iOS app, or by emailing support@preppartner.ai from your account email. Deletion removes your profile, study history, transcripts and selector runs, and cancels any active subscription. Records we are legally required to keep (such as payment records) are retained only for as long as the law requires.

Your rights

Under UK GDPR you can ask us to access, correct, export or erase your personal data, restrict or object to how we process it, and withdraw consent where we rely on it. Contact support@preppartner.ai and we will respond within one month. You can also complain to the Information Commissioner's Office at ico.org.uk.

Children

The service is intended for people preparing for university applications, typically aged 16 and over. We do not knowingly collect data from anyone under 13.

Security

Data is encrypted in transit (HTTPS/TLS and encrypted audio streams) and at rest with our hosting providers. Passwords are never stored in plain text.

Changes

We will post any changes to this policy on this page and update the date above. If a change is significant we will let you know by email or in the app.
