On the day

One Zoom session rather than a circuit: after sound and ID checks, the same four assessors stay with you for about 45 to 60 minutes, and you deliver both prepared tasks within it.

Two tasks to prepare in advance: a 3D model in dried pasta of an environmental habitat that represents your personality, which you show and discuss, and a 5-minute presentation on a current controversial topic in dentistry (3 slides or items at most, plus a hard copy).

The tasks change every cycle (2025 entry: a pasta animal and a water fluoridation talk; before that a decorated matchbox), and the interview has grown from 20 minutes with two assessors to 45 to 60 with four. Check the live page each year.

A 2026 tutoring webinar describes the order as two questions, the two tasks, then two more questions, each about five minutes with follow-ups; the school publishes no order or count.

No devices, AI, books or pre-prepared notes: Bristol treats their use as contract cheating, and discussing the questions afterwards as a fitness-to-practise matter.

How offers are made
100%interview performance alone

Assessors score, the Admissions Office ranks, and UCAT separates identical scores; home and international applicants are ranked separately. Expect to be held, as Bristol rarely makes offers until all interviews are done.
