On the day

In person on campus for Home applicants (two campus locations, confirmed by email). Only overseas-domiciled, overseas-fee candidates may use Zoom. A briefing and ID check precedes each circuit.

Nothing is given in advance and no station involves reading or writing, so every station starts cold; your starting station is allocated at random.

One station covers the non-academic side: work experience and what you learned, hobbies, teamwork and leadership, and your motivation for dentistry. No dexterity test or group task is described.

Bring original photo ID to the compulsory briefing or you may not be allowed to interview. Declare illness before the circuit starts; retrospective mitigation is not accepted.

No notes allowed.

2 min to move between stations.

How offers are made

Each interviewer scores their station independently on an iPad. The school says interviewer feedback is weighed with the rest of the application, and the Academic Lead for Admissions makes the final call, usually in March or April through UCAS. International applicants compete for a separate quota of four places.
