- You must sit the UCAT in your application year. There's no UCAT cutoff - your score feeds the academic ranking.2
- Leeds doesn't disclose how it uses the SJT - it withholds all UCAT scoring detail (upheld by the ICO), so no band rule can be confirmed.
Age
- You must be 18 by 1 October of your entry year - younger applicants can apply for deferred entry.3
Resits & reapplying
- One resit attempt per A-Level and per GCSE is accepted; a third attempt needs evidence of mitigating circumstances.1
- You must show evidence of full-time education within the last 5 years.1
- Reapplication is allowed - within the same cycle only at the Admissions team's discretion, and a previous offer doesn't guarantee a new one.3
- You're not considered if you've previously studied medicine.
- Transfers into Year 1 from any other course - at Leeds or elsewhere - are not considered.4
