A-Levels
- You must be taking two sciences including Chemistry. Predicted grades are checked as a pass/fail gate for interview selection - they aren't scored.1
GCSE
- You need at least grade 5/B in GCSE Maths and English.1
UCAT
- You must sit the UCAT in your application year (home applicants only). There's no fixed cutoff - the threshold is set by each year's applicant pool.2
- No SJT band leads to automatic rejection.

- All home applicants who meet the requirements are ranked by their raw UCAT total - no academic scoring, and the personal statement isn't scored.
- The 2025 thresholds were 1800 for Home and 1630 for contextual applicants (converted to the 2700-scale UCAT) - our estimate is you'd need around 1840 next cycle.2
- Home, contextual and international applicants are ranked in separate pools, at shortlisting and after interview, with no fixed interview quotas.
