Entry requirements

A-Levels

  • You must be taking Chemistry or Biology and another science (Maths counts as a science); the third subject is free choice. Predicted grades must meet the same published minimums.1
  • General Studies isn't accepted.1

GCSE

  • You need GCSE Biology and Chemistry at grade 7.1
  • You also need GCSE Mathematics and English at grade 6 if not studied at A-Level.1

UCAT

  • You must sit the UCAT in your application year. There's no minimum cut-off score.2
  • Your SJT band isn't used in the initial selection for interview.3

Resits & reapplying

  • Resits aren't accepted. A-Levels must be achieved in the same year (two years after GCSE) and Highers taken in one sitting.4
