6 to 10 stations on the day

UCLan declined to tell us which stations it runs.

On the day

Usually at the Preston campus, with a guided tour of the school facilities on the day. International applicants may be interviewed at overseas locations such as Dubai.

UCLan says only "usually between six to ten" stations; a 2025 entry applicant reported six, covering graph interpretation, ethical dilemmas, how you would behave in a medical situation and critiquing a video of a doctor.

The same applicant sat a written block before the MMI (two maths questions in about 10 minutes, a writing task in about 15 minutes) and put the whole visit at around five hours.

You must complete a transferable skills statement if invited to interview.

The top ten international candidates in the MMI are awarded the MBBS Excellence Scholarship.

How offers are made
100%interview performance alone

Offers rest solely on interview performance. Applicants who succeed in the MMI stations are ranked by score once all interviews are done; a few exceptional candidates get early offers.
