On the day
Brayford Campus, Lincoln. Candidates report a group briefing before the circuit and a campus tour afterwards. Candidates granted extra time as a reasonable adjustment sit a separate circuit with 6 minute stations and 2 minutes of reading time.
The interview is 70 percent of the final ranking. Seven stations, each marked on two domains worth 1 to 5 points, give a score out of 70 that is added to a halved academic score out of 30.
2026 entry was the first cycle Lincoln interviewed separately from Nottingham, so older accounts and most prep-site guides describe a different, online format. Lincoln publishes no station detail.
A 1 minute unscored icebreaker opens the circuit. Station types include role play, data interpretation, calculation and one with a written component.
Fail three or more stations and you cannot get an offer, however high your total.
Bring photo ID. Without it you will not usually be interviewed.
Lincoln will not release your interview score or any individual feedback.
You can make notes and keep them in the station.
1 min to move between stations.
Interviewers see only your name, not your application.
Interview score out of 70 is added to the halved Combined Academic Score out of 30; ties are broken by the higher interview score. Offers go out once all interviews are complete, and some applications are held while numbers are reviewed.
