On the day

Asynchronous recorded interview on the SAMMI-Select platform: questions are pre-recorded, you record your answers, and trained interviewers score the recordings afterwards. Login details arrive 48 hours before your interview date and applicants report a 48-hour window in which to start; the school says to allow up to an hour for the whole process including checks and upload. Graduate entry (A101) interviews ran in person at Tooting or online.

The A100 interview is a recorded online session on SAMMI-Select, not a live conversation: each question is read aloud and shown on screen, then a timer runs while you record your answer, with a 60-second break between the six questions.

You get login details 48 hours before your date and applicants report 48 hours in which to start; once started it must be finished in one sitting, so allow up to an hour including checks and upload.

Use a laptop or desktop on Chrome, Firefox, Opera or Edge (not Safari, a tablet or a phone); the platform runs AI-use detection and any flagged activity can invalidate the interview.

If you applied to both the 5-year and graduate entry courses and qualify for both interviews, you interview once and the score is used for both.

None beyond the 60-second gap between questions; once started, the interview must be completed in one sitting.

Interviewers see only your name, not your application.

How offers are made

After all interviews, MMI and SJT scores are ranked and the highest performing applicants within each group (home or overseas, graduate or non-graduate) are made an offer; SJT banding is considered for 2026 entry. UCAT may also be considered after interview and may be used to rank a post-interview waiting list. A100 outcomes are released by the end of February.
