On the day
Selection day on Highfield Campus with two parts in either order: a panel interview of about 20 minutes and a group task of about 20 to 30 minutes with around 8 candidates. No online alternative is offered.
Not an MMI: a panel interview of about 20 minutes, usually with two interviewers, plus an observed group task of around 8 candidates; you may get either part first.
Your personal statement drives the panel questions, so be ready to be asked about anything in it.
Everyone in your group sits their panel interview at the same time in one room, at tables separated by curtains.
Assessed against five stated non-academic criteria including reflection on life experience and the NHS Constitution values.
Unstructured waiting between the two parts; the booked slot is longer than the assessed time.
Offers are made on selection day performance, with UCAT used only to split tied selection day scores. One stage list on the apply page says performance is "reviewed alongside UCAT score", but the course page and the selection policy describe UCAT as a tie-break only.
