On the day
Home fee status applicants interview in person in St Andrews; all other fee statuses interview online. 2026 applicants reported in-person dates from 13 January and online dates for international and RUK applicants in February. The online interviews ran on Microsoft Teams for 2024 entry; the 2026 page does not name the platform.
Short circuit: four stations of about six minutes, so there is little time to warm up at each one.
Communication and interpersonal skills are marked at every station, and at least one is a role play with an actor.
Bring signed photo ID matching your UCAS name; a child's passport alone is not accepted and no ID means no interview.
One minute between stations; no longer break.
Offers are based on the interview score and the route applied to; ties are split on global UCAT score. No cut-off is set before interview, and thresholds can differ by fee status.
