On the day
Microsoft Teams, camera on throughout, photo ID shown to camera before the interview starts.
Not an MMI. Two separate 15-minute Teams interviews, each with two interviewers, usually in the same half-day and around two hours apart.
You get pre-reading 1-2 days before. One interview uses the GMC "Achieving good medical practice" professionalism section, the other a short case sent with your invitation.
Interviewers have not read your personal statement, so give them the details yourself if you want to refer to it.
Using AI during the interview is forbidden and means rejection; recording or transcribing the interview is also banned.
The two interviews are separate appointments, usually about 2 hours apart in the same half-day session.
Offer decision is based on interview performance; candidates close to the offer threshold may be placed on a reserve list, and ties at the threshold are ranked on UCAT.
