Ulster's MBBS course page specifies GAMSAT as the admissions test - UCAT is not listed. [6]
Minimum score of 50 in each section of GAMSAT, and applicants must also clear an annual competitive overall GAMSAT threshold to be interviewed. [7]
For August 2026 entry, GAMSAT sittings from March 2022 through September 2025 are accepted (eight sittings). [8]
Graduate-entry only
Previous medical study
Applicants who have previously studied (or are currently studying) at another UK, Irish or international medical school are generally not considered; an extenuating-circumstances exception applies if declared in the personal statement. [14]
If shortlisted, a letter from the previous medical school confirming academic and professional standing is required. [15]
Reapplications
No limit on the number of UCAS applications. Reapplicants not shortlisted are advised to resit GAMSAT as their score may not be competitive. [16]
